Snowboard trips, liver transplants, and french apple tarts

My life has been strangely alternating between chaotic and monotonous. The chaos comes from taking six classes and still trying to have some semblance of a social life while being supportive and present for my roommate who is donating her liver to her dad because he needs a transplant. I think the monotany comes from me being stressed and shutting down thus sitting on my couch watching foodtv for hours on end. Overall I think it's going to be a growing period for me for one thing. With finances, school work, and more commitments then I have ever carried in the past it is a bit of a sink or swim situation.
